Husky Battalion Army JROTC is the Army Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps program at Northern Garrett High School. Our program is dedicated to developing confident, disciplined, and responsible young leaders while preparing cadets to become better citizens and productive members of their school and community.

Our program focuses on leadership, character development, citizenship, academic achievement, physical fitness, teamwork, and personal responsibility. Cadets are provided with opportunities to develop skills inside and outside the classroom through hands-on training, competitions, community service, leadership experiences, and extracurricular activities.

Husky Battalion cadets participate in a wide range of activities, including JROTC Cadet Leadership Challenge (JCLC), CyberPatriot, archery, air rifle, physical fitness, community service, leadership development, and other competitive and service-oriented events.

We believe every cadet has the potential to become a leader. Through challenging experiences and positive mentorship, Husky Battalion helps cadets build confidence, develop character, discover their strengths, and prepare for success in college, careers, military service, and life.
